1 General Terms

Welcome to AIB Events Center. By accessing our website at aibeventscenter.org and using our booking services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of our website, online booking system, and all services provided by AIB Events Nigeria. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services or website.

AIB Events Center is a premier 1,200-capacity luxury marquee venue located in Wuse II, Abuja, Nigeria. We provide full-service event management including venue hire, decoration, catering, equipment rental, and event planning services. All bookings made through our website or in-person are subject to these terms and conditions without exception.

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking with us. By submitting a booking request, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract and that all information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

2 Booking & Reservations

All bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis. A date is only considered reserved once the required 50% deposit has been received and confirmed by our team. Until the deposit is received, the date remains available for other clients to book. We strongly recommend completing your payment promptly to secure your preferred date.

Upon successful submission of a booking through our website, you will receive a unique booking reference number (e.g., AIB-ABC123). This reference must be kept safe as it is required for all future communications, payment tracking, and order management. You can track your booking status at any time using our My Orders page.

The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full no later than one (1) week before the scheduled event date. Failure to pay the balance by the deadline may result in the booking being cancelled without refund of the initial deposit. AIB Events reserves the right to release the date to other clients if full payment is not received by the deadline.

3 Payment Terms

All payments must be made via bank transfer, mobile transfer, or cash deposit to our official bank account. We do not accept cryptocurrency, cheques, or international wire transfers at this time. Payment must be made in Nigerian Naira (NGN) only. All prices quoted on our website are inclusive of applicable taxes.

After making a payment, you must upload proof of payment (screenshot or receipt) through our payment page or send it via WhatsApp to +234 813 270 7394. Your payment will be verified within 24 hours and you will receive a confirmation email once approved. Please ensure your payment reference or booking number is included in the transfer narration.

Our pricing structure is as follows: Basic Package at ₦3,000,000 (4 hours, venue only, basic lighting), Standard Package at ₦3,500,000 (8 hours, venue + decor, full lighting & sound), and Premium Package at ₦4,000,000 (12 hours + cleanup, full service, catering included). Extra hours beyond the included duration are charged at ₦250,000 per hour.

4 Cancellation & Refund Policy

Even in the event of cancellation, the full payment amount remains due. If you cancel after paying the deposit, the remaining balance is still owed to AIB Events Center. We reserve the right to pursue legal action to recover outstanding balances. This policy is strictly enforced without exception.

If AIB Events Center needs to cancel an event due to circumstances within our control (such as facility issues), we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule to an available date at no additional cost. This is the ONLY scenario in which refunds will be issued.

5 Event Planner Program

AIB Events Center offers an exclusive partnership program for registered event planners. Approved planners receive a 100,000 NGN discount on every booking they bring to us. To qualify, you must be a registered AIB Events Planner and your status must be verified at the time of booking.

The planner discount cannot be combined with any other promotional offers or discounts. Planners must indicate their status during the booking process by checking the "Are you a registered AIB Events Planner?" option. False claims of planner status will result in the booking being cancelled without refund and potential legal action.

Additional benefits of the Event Planner Program include priority booking access before the general public, an official AIB Events partner badge, and a dedicated account manager for all your bookings. Planners are expected to maintain professional standards and represent AIB Events Center positively in all client interactions.

6 Event Conduct

AIB Events Center has a maximum capacity of 1,200 guests. This limit is strictly enforced for safety and regulatory compliance. Exceeding the capacity limit may result in the event being shut down by venue management without refund. The client is responsible for ensuring guest count remains within the agreed limit.

Events must adhere to the scheduled time slots as specified in the booking agreement. The venue must be vacated by the agreed end time. Overtime beyond the booked duration will incur additional charges at 250,000 NGN per hour. Setup and cleanup time must be factored into the booking duration or arranged separately with management.

The following items and activities are strictly prohibited on the premises: illegal drugs, open flames (except approved candles), fireworks or pyrotechnics, outside catering without prior approval (except for Premium package), and any activity that poses a safety risk. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. AIB Events Center reserves the right to terminate any event that violates these rules without refund.

7 Liability & Damage

The client assumes full responsibility for any damage to the venue, equipment, furniture, or property caused by the client, their guests, vendors, or contractors during the event. All damages will be assessed by venue management and the cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the client. Payment for damages is due within 7 days of the event date.

AIB Events Center is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought onto the premises by the client or their guests. We recommend that clients secure valuable items and obtain appropriate event insurance. The venue provides basic security, but clients are encouraged to arrange additional security for high-profile events.

While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of all guests, AIB Events Center is not liable for any injuries sustained during events held at our venue. Clients are advised to obtain event liability insurance. The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless AIB Events Center, its staff, and management from any claims arising from their event.

8 Privacy Policy

AIB Events Center collects and processes personal information necessary for processing bookings, communicating with clients, and improving our services. The information we collect includes: full name, email address, phone number, event details, and payment information. All data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider with enterprise-grade encryption.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may only be shared with service providers directly involved in delivering your event (such as decorators, caterers, or security) and only to the extent necessary for service delivery.

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at info@aibeventscenter.org. We retain booking records for a minimum of 3 years for legal and accounting purposes. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Nigerian tax regulations.

9 Intellectual Property

All content on the AIB Events Center website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software, is the property of AIB Events Nigeria and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of any content is strictly prohibited.

Clients grant AIB Events Center permission to photograph and video-record events held at our venue for promotional and portfolio purposes unless explicitly declined in writing prior to the event. If you do not wish for your event to be photographed or recorded, please notify us in writing at least 48 hours before the event date.

10 Changes to Terms

AIB Events Center reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically for any updates.

For significant changes that may affect existing bookings, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected clients via email or WhatsApp. However, it is the client's responsibility to stay informed of the current terms. The most recent version of these terms will always be available on our website at aibeventscenter.org/terms/.
